Happy Passover

This year we held our 13th consecutive friends seder, now a long running tradition. We started at Chester Street in 2005, had a great run at D Street from 2007-2013, did three years at Athens Street from 2014-2016, and this year Mike and Tina held it down on Gold Street. While the format has evolved quite a bit, one thing that has remained consistent is that we never actually have it on one of the first two nights of Passover, when you’re “supposed” to seder. We originally would to wait until the 3rd or 4th nights, so that we could steal family leftovers. That led to the brisket showdown of 2006. Later we would hold it on the 7th and 8th nights, because we just weren’t quite organized enough to make it happen earlier. This year, we decided to have it last night, the night before Passover. With the main motivation being that if we waited too long, baby K might force a seder rescheduling.

I found some photos from over the years. Good stuff.

Nobody had smartphones (except James Spector), and if anybody thought to bust out the point and shoot, they certainly didn’t think to post the pictures on Facebook. If you attended one of these seders, and have pictures, please share.
